My youngest daughter says this is her favorite song. It is the one that made her cry the first time she heard it!

Imagine life without bedtime and teardrops. Without getting tired. No more broken bones or broken hearts!

Imagine running a playing with Jesus. Making new friends and keeping them forever!

We were made for something so good! We are invited into and eternity of that good!

Repentance is about turning to God.

God is continually calling to us, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come.”

The words of this song are a paraphrase of Matthew 3:1-12.

I wrote this song during the last week of March 2020 (at the beginning of a pandemic) after preaching a sermon from Romans 8 on March 21st. The sermon centered on the truth that nothing can separate us from the love of God. I was amazed at the thought that God is loving me right now.

No matter what difficulty is oppressing me I know what God is doing right now, he is loving me!

Rest in his love!

I wrote this song feeling like I didn’t have much to give. I felt like a failure in ministry. I was reminded of the many stories in the Bible that tell of God calling people to bring the little they have and then multiplying it.

We don’t need to be enough. He is. Just bring him the little you have!
