The voice of the scoffer and the voice of the promise have messages for all of us. The promise says, “Jesus is coming.” The scoffer says, “It sure is taking him a while.” The promise says, “it’s certain.” The scoffer says, “maybe it’s not.” The louder the scoffer gets the more we need to listen to the voice of promise. Which voice is louder?
